THINGS TO DO
The Voyageurs National Park area is a 4 season area with many things to do but water is the main focus of the area!  Fish hundreds of miles of shoreline and islands, cruise to the Kettle Falls damn or Crane Lake for lunch, visit the Ellsworth Rock Gardens, travel up river and view the rock cliffs on your way to Ash River Falls or take a sunset cruise!   Starting in September, hunting is in its prime as ruffed grouse and black bear season opens.  White-tail deer season open the first Saturday in November.  Northern Minnesota has thousands of acres of public hunting land with miles of perfect trails for the hunter. Fall also offers some spectacular fishing days!  Nothing beats a warm fall day on one of our area lakes or nearby Sullivan Bay while taking in excellent fishing action and the brilliant fall colors!
